• Account information: email address, display name and profile image (obtained through Firebase Authentication)
• Usage data: information about the clip projects you create (YouTube URL, generation settings, timestamps, usage counts, etc.)
• Access logs: server logs including IP address, browser information and access timestamps

Collected information is used for the following purposes.

• Providing, operating and improving the Service
• Account management and user authentication
• Understanding and analysing usage (to improve the Service)
• Responding to enquiries from users
• Responding to conduct that breaches the Terms of Service
• Sending important notices about the Service

3. Disclosure to third parties

The Operator does not disclose personal information to third parties except in the following cases.

• Where the user has consented
• Where required by law
• Where necessary to protect a person's life, body or property

The Service uses the external services below. Information handling by each service follows that company's own privacy policy.

5. Storage and management of data

• Personal information is managed with appropriate security measures in place.
• Generated video files, thumbnails and profile images are stored on Amazon S3 over encrypted connections.
• When a project is deleted, the related video files are promptly removed from cloud storage.

Users have the following rights.

• The right to request disclosure, correction or deletion of their personal information
• The right to delete their account and request erasure of the related data

7. Advertising

The Service may in future use third-party advertising services such as Google AdSense.

• Google AdSense may use cookies (including cookies for personalised advertising) to show ads based on your interests.

8. Analytics

The Service may use Google Analytics, an access analysis tool provided by Google.

• Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data. This traffic data is collected anonymously and does not identify individuals.
• You can refuse this collection by disabling cookies; please check your browser settings.

9. Email open tracking

Announcement emails we send may contain a small (1x1 pixel) image used to measure whether the email was opened.

• We record the date, time and number of times an email was opened, along with basic information about your email client. We do not track what you read inside the email or your activity on other websites.
• This information is used only to improve the content and frequency of our announcements.
• Disabling automatic image loading in your email client prevents this measurement. You can also stop announcement emails entirely from the notification settings on your account page.

10. Use of cookies

The Service uses cookies for session management, user authentication and analytics. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may then stop working.

11. Changes to this policy

The Operator may change this policy. The amended policy takes effect when posted on the Service.
